Dear Academy Community,
We anticipate tomorrow’s Feast of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne celebration with great JOY! Among the many events:
- After a Eucharistic Procession from Duchesne High School to Mother Duchesne’s Shrine (where they will venerate their school’s namesake), the Duchesne High School community will join us for a special Feast Day Liturgy in Rauch Memorial Gym. Anyone who wishes is welcome to this special celebration.
- The Academy community is serving those in need with Feast Day gifts of food for New Hope Food Pantry.
- The Academy Alumni Association will be participating in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from Friday morning until Saturday morning, book-ended by 8 a.m. masses in the Shrine. Anyone is welcome to join.
- The Alumni Association will engage in a day of service on Saturday.
Thank you to each one for celebrating Philippine by following her lead: Deepening our connection with the Heart of Christ AND BEING the Heart of Christ in the world through the lives that we lead and ways that we love!
I am thankful to be in this beautiful community as we continue to journey ever deeper into Christ’s Heart and God’s Grace.
