Over the summer, we were honored to receive our 50th five-star review on Niche. Fresh reviews help The Academy reach prospective parents and bolster our marketing efforts. You can read more about sharing your Academy experience here.
As a parent, I have a deep appreciation for the development of the whole child. The loving community fosters growth, academic excellence and strives to constantly improve and excel. We have found a school home that focuses on good manners, being prepared and showing empathy but also provides academic rigor and extensive programming. The teachers and staff at ASH go above and beyond to provide a loving, structured environment. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at the Academy of the Sacred Heart.
To me, the Academy of the Sacred Heart is more than an outstanding education that truly, from personal experience, prepares you for high school, college, and beyond. I learned how to take risks at the Academy, both inside and outside of the classroom. I learned that a smile and greeting is foundational in fostering meaningful relationships. I learned that there is a world outside of our own, which propelled me into life after Sacred Heart. I felt prepared and confident going into my next chapter in life. As an alum, I also feel that Sacred Heart is always a home I can go back to. It is a lifelong family and community where I continue to make memories.
Making the decision to send our two sons to the Academy of the Sacred Heart was one we have never regretted. Education is the best investment that we feel as parents we can do for our children. Being educators ourselves, we have seen the many sides of education. The Academy has the best of everything: teachers, curriculum, administration, facilities, and community. The teachers’ dedication and patience are unmatched. The curriculum is engaging and exciting for our sons and keeps them actually wanting to go to school. The administration knows every student and family and are always welcoming. The over 200-year-old building has so many stories to tell, and is important to the St. Charles landscape and history. Along with our sons, we have have built relationships and friendships with many of the parents at the school. We love volunteering because it creates a common bond with others and allows us to meet new people with the same values and interests.
