Brunch and Book Talk — a Centennial Celebration Event

Constance Solari, Sacred Heart educator at our sister school in Atherton, Calif., will join us to discuss her book, Sophie’s Fire, a historical novel based on the life of St. Madeleine Sophie Barat. We’ll begin with a catered brunch. Ms. Solari will present slides of Joigny, Grenoble, Poitiers and Paris with readings from the novel, followed by discussion. Sophie’s Fire may be pre-ordered from Amazon and we’ll also have books available for purchase. The author will be happy to autograph copies of her book, which would make a wonderful gift for any Sacred Heart alum on your list.
