On Monday, Oct. 8, the oldest child in each family will be bringing home a letter describing how to access and implement the online registration which will take place Oct. 15-19 for Parent-Teacher Conferences Thursday, Nov. 1 (for Middle School and Pre-Primary) and Friday, Nov. 2 (for Middle School, Lower School and Pre-Primary).

The Sacred Heart Spirituality Series is sponsored by the Mums of Alums at Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School for the benefit of the entire Sacred Heart family. Parent-Child Programs at Mercy
The Fertility Care Services department at Mercy Hospital is offering three programs this fall, An Afternoon Program for Mothers and Daughters on Sunday, Oct. 14, and Father/Son: Boys Into Men Program on Sunday, Oct. 21 (for 11 and 12-year-olds) and Sunday, Nov. 11 (for 13 to 17-year-olds). The programs will be held in the von Gontard Conference Center, 621 S. New Ballas Road, St. Louis, and begin at 1 p.m.

Basketball Skills Training at ASH
Anonymous Athletes (founded by Mr. Travis Wallace, former student of ASH parent Mike McMurran) will be conducting basketball skills training at the Academy beginning Sunday, Sept. 16 through Sunday, Nov. 11, from 5 to 6 p.m. The focus will be on skills: dribbling, shooting, rebounding, passing and defensive mechanics. Author Paul Tough Discusses Character
MICDS and its Parent Education Network will present a special program for parents with children of all ages, and for high school students, featuring acclaimed author Paul Tough on Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Mary Eliot Chapel. Tough will discuss his new book, How Children Succeed: Grit, Curiosity and the Hidden Power of Character.
How Children Succeed introduces readers to a new generation of researchers and educators who are using the tools of science to peel back the mysteries of character. Tough has written extensively about education, child development, poverty and politics. Learn more about Paul Tough.
