Congratulations to the 2012 Academy Track and Field Team on a first place finish in the 63rd annual St. Louis CYC Track Meet at Bishop DuBourg High School. The entire Academy team competed May 12 and our qualifying finalists on May 19, earning the first-place win with a total of 232 points. Special congratulations to our four gold medalists: Macy H. (200m dash), Sophia T. (high jump), Kalei R. (shot put) and Griffin P. (shot put).
“I was extremely proud of the boys and girls who participated in the track and field program this year,” said Coach Gonzalez. “Great season!”
The CYC meet was dedicated three years ago as the Ken Biermann Memorial Track Meet in honor of our longtime ASH teacher and coach.
