Congratulations to 17 of our Second Class students who made their First Holy Communion in the Shrine of St. Philippine Duchesne on Saturday, April 14.
Expressing her own congratulations, Dr. Dempf writes: “First Holy Communion is the moment at which members of the Catholic faith join more intimately with God. For as the body and blood of Christ were received by these children they became part of the body of Christ. They became His hands, His voice, and His heart in our world. It was a beautiful and humbling experience to witness such complete openness to grace. I wish that everyone could have been in the Shrine to join in this celebration.”
Special thanks and congratulations to Second Class teachers Mrs. Grojean and Mrs. Kaemmerlen, to Fr. Sean Martin, and to parents, godparents and family members of our First Communicants!
