It was a joyful celebration of the Academy community today as students, faculty and staff, parents, RSCJ, alumni, parents of alumni, Board of Trustees members and friends gathered for the Commissioning Ceremony of Mr. Tim Horner.
Mass was celebrated by Fr. Frank Reale, SJ who inspired students to live the spirit of Jesus. Following the homily, Mr. Shawn Leight, Academy Board chair, introduced Suzanne Cooke, RSCJ, Provincial of the U.S. Canada Province, who formally installed Mr. Horner as 46th Head of School.
“Mr. Horner, may your work be supported by the intercession of St. Madeleine Sophie and St. Philippine Duchesne, empowered by the Holy Spirit and always reflective of the love of the Heart of Christ, our encounter with the depth of the love of God.”
Please continue to keep Mr. Horner in your prayers as he embarks on this journey, following in the footsteps of St. Philippine Duchesne.
