Alums who attended the Academy in the mid-1960s will remember Sister Nancy McAuley, who served as Principal and Mistress General in St. Charles from 1963 to 1968. Sister McAuley was born in St. Louis and attended ASH. She graduated in 1931 and entered the Society of the Sacred Heart in 1936. She died on March 6 at the Society’s elder care center in Atherton, California.
