Mrs. Mary Reepmeyer ’96 begins her tenure as principal this year. We are blessed to have her move into this role after 18 years teaching at the Academy, in addition to her time as a student. She is dedicated to Sacred Heart education and excited to launch this year at the Academy.

Welcome to the start of a new school year at the Academy! As we embark on this exciting journey together, I am filled with a sense of hope and optimism for the possibilities that lie ahead.

Every new school year brings a fresh start — a chance to set new goals, pursue our dreams, and strive for excellence in all that we do. Our school community is a place where learning, growth, and discovery happen every day, and I am confident that this year will be no exception as I have talked with the students about “Going for the Gold” and how “Teamwork makes the Dream Work.”

The students are at the heart of everything we do. It has been a pleasure seeing smiles on the students’ faces each morning as they get out of their cars and are ready to take on a new day. My hope for them this year is that they use their curiosity and creativity to find joy in their learning, challenge themselves to reach new heights, and build lasting friendships along the way.

Parents, your support and partnership are invaluable. Together, we create an environment where our children feel safe, inspired, and prepared to face new challenges. I hope this year you meet new families as well as draw closer to your child’s educational journey as you witness their growth and achievements with pride and joy.

I am blessed to be able to walk these halls and witness the magic that comes alive in each classroom every day. The teachers’ passion, dedication, and commitment to our students’ success are what make our school an extraordinary place which many call their second home. My dream this year is that they continue to inspire and nurture our students using an empowerment approach. This means they will help students become more globally aware, think effectively, and problem solve for change through impactful projects that incorporate real-world accomplishments. This guidance will help our students realize their potential and that God made them for a special purpose to fulfill in our world.

Here’s to a year filled with faith, hope, dreams, and incredible achievements. Together, we can make it happen!
