Since 1975 hundreds of guests have taken a ride on our Chemin de Fer charity train – the Academy’s largest fundraiser of the year. This year the Academy is celebrating 50 years of Chemin de Fer, The Golden Age! It is a special evening with an opportunity to bid on exciting and one-of-a-kind auction items, enjoy an elegant dinner, and visit with Academy parents, alumni, and friends. This event supports the important work of Sacred Heart education.
How is Chemin de Fer able to present so many amazing items in its “live” and “silent” auctions? Donations, donations, DONATIONS! We have a committee of individuals who have already started to solicit local and corporate businesses– but we need your help too!
How to support Chemin’s LIVE AUCTION: Class Gifts are a highlight of the live auction.
- Each student is asked to donate $20 towards their “Class Gift.” Please use the form below to make your Class Gift(s) contribution.
- Do you have resources or access to concert tickets, vacation spots, cool experiences? Please let us know! We ask that you please share your connections with your Room Parent(s) or our Live Auction chairs: Heather Locker (heathereliselocker@gmail.com) and Jessica Weeks (jessweeks4@yahoo.com).
How to support Chemin’s SILENT AUCTION: We ask that all families also donate to the silent auction. This portion of the night brings in over $30,000! The silent auction team of volunteers makes donating so easy and convenient.
- If you are not sure exactly what to donate, there will be an Amazon Custom Gift List (coming soon) that makes it easy to shop and have your purchases delivered directly to the Academy.
- Popular auction items include travel & experiences, designer bags & jewelry, professional sports events & tickets, wine & dine packages, toys, games, electronics, gift cards, sports memorabilia, wine & whiskey.
The form below will streamline your auction donation process for your Class Gift(s) and provide a family buy-out of your personal auction donation. You may also send a check, made payable to the Academy of the Sacred Heart, to the Business Office.
