Eighth Class Language Arts

After finishing Elie Wiesel’s memoir, Night, the Eighth Class students had to come up with an original idea for a memorial specific to this literary work. Since they had focused on reading Night through the key conceptual lens of creativity, it was fitting that they had to engage in a real-world task of convincing someone to give them funding for their imagined project. Along with a written proposal, the students needed to create a miniature replica or a detailed 2D design of it. Since they could not present their work in person, the students submitted videotaped presentations of their proposed memorials.
