My heart is filled to overflowing with gratitude for this community of God’s Heart!
Among the many gifts from parents for which I am MOST RECENTLY grateful:
- The GENEROUS outpouring of gifts at Silver Tea, thus allowing our faculty and staff to have a Christmas bonus!
- The GENEROUS volunteers who helped at the Silver Tea receptions!
- The GENEROUS parents who donated food for yesterday’s Faculty-Staff Christmas party!
- The GENEROUS parents who volunteered to help DURING the Christmas party!
- The GENEROUS response to the Fill the Heart Campaign (we are just 1% shy of 70% participation among our parent community!)
- The GENEROUS and CREATIVE Annual Giving Committee who spent a day personally driving to every Academy home!
- The THOUGHTFUL parents who took time to Drive-4UR-School!
- The SPECTACULAR soon-to-be-donated (at the Christmas Basket Mass) Mothers’ Club gift to the Sister Anna Mae Marheineke Student Enrichment Fund, which is the fruit of the Mothers’ Club Taste of Christmas Boutique and Gently Worn Uniform Sales.
I know that it is a sacrifice to choose to send your child to the Academy. As I often say, however, I am convinced that our world will indeed be a better place because of this transformational education of heart, mind and soul!
May God-Among-Us be palpably present to each of you in your hearts, your homes and your lives this Christmas and throughout the New Year.
