Sacred Heart Spirituality Speakers Series – Guided Tour of Old St. Ferdinand’s

Sister Margaret Munch will lead this tour of Old St. Ferdinand’s, the first Sacred Heart convent built and inhabited by St. Philippine Duchesne in America. Group will meet at 9:30 a.m. for Sister Munch’s tour and lecture on the 1819 convent and school established by St. Philippine after her first year at St. Charles. Recently restored to reflect the time of St. Philippine, this was her home longer than any other in America—14 years. Luncheon will be available immediately following the tour at nearly Hendel’s Restaurant, if you choose; 11:30 Mass at the Shrine, optional.
