Happy Easter and Welcome Back!
Yesterday we enjoyed a visit from the Program Director for the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, Mr. Ian Humphreys. In this newly-created role, Ian will facilitate and help plan programs for students, faculty and staff in the 24 Network of Sacred Heart schools in the United States and Canada. He spent the day meeting with various groupings of Academy faculty, staff and students to:
- explain the new organizational structure of the Network,
- demo online Sacred Heart resources,
- talk about upcoming programs, and
- discuss various ways by which the Network might serve member schools more effectively (e.g., helping with student and faculty exchanges and alternative programs).
Seeing ourselves as part of a larger organization with the same Five Goals of Sacred Heart Education, with the same transformational mission, with the same holistic educational philosophy, and with the same desire to launch courageous, confident and compassionate young men and women into the world, is both broadening and refreshing for me. I hope it is for you, as well.
